We are making an impact!

Hi all – It’s been a whirlwind week. I consider you part of this, that’s why I say “we” in the subject line of this email : ) – many of you have been with me for 10+ years and have watched this unfold. I’m so grateful the book is having an impact and I want to ensure I express my gratitude for everyone on this email list. THANK YOU!!!

To be on the same best-seller list as these authors is absolutely crazy and surreal! Brene Brown is one of them, as you’ll see below in the screenshot. I saw her speak in 2012 at a conference and had never heard of her at the time. She opened my eyes to the power of vulnerability and was a catalyst for me to share more of my story to help others.

Many have reached out and asked how they can help. At this point, I’d absolutely be thrilled if you bought the book and read it. I poured my heart and soul into this and I believe there are actionable steps you can take right away that will help immensely. I feel like I literally bled on the pages at times : ) – it definitely was a challenging process – but so worth it! I learned something really valuable recently as I was talking to my publisher about not being the “self-promotion” type last week. He challenged me and said that if you believe in the message and know it will help people, you’d be doing everyone a disservice if you didn’t get the message out there. I think that’s a great message for all of us. If you believe in your message (and we all have one that can and will help others), we should be okay getting it out there! So, here I am marketing the message to you : )

My friend and industry colleague, Michelle Raue, was kind enough to post this on LinkedIn this week. I don’t take words like this lightly and I wanted to pass this on. Again, I hope you will read the book first and if you find it worthy enough to recommend to others – that would be amazing.
